VAT Relief Eligibilty
Do I qualify?
To qualify for VAT relief, the alarm user would need to have a disability or a long-term health, physical or mental condition. The alarm user doesn't have to be the person buying the Telecare Alarm for the VAT to be taken off the price. Children, grandchildren, friends or guardians can all purchase the alarm on behalf of the alarm user who qualifies for VAT relief.
What is the criteria for VAT relief?
People meet the criteria of having a disability or a long-term illness by having any of the following:
A physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon their ability to carry out everyday activities or a condition which the medical profession treats as a long-term illness, such as diabetes or heart disease.
